My wife, Irene, bought me a photography class with Art & Clarity for Christmas. Janna tailored the class to the area I wanted to learn, F-stop and shutter settings. Janna took us to a beautiful forested preserve and spent more than 3 hours with us taking shots, providing great information, and taking pictures on her own camera to show us concepts. She brought drinks and snacks. While we nibbled, she went over more concepts from a hardcopy document that we received electronically after the class. When we came back, she even showed us how to do a few manipulations of photos on the computer, and sent us some of the shots she took during the outing.

The class was all that we could ask for. Janna was generous with her time, was a good and patient teacher, and was enjoyable to just spend time with. Besides the technical concepts, she gave us information on how to ‘see’ a scene. We got plenty of practice, which provided muscle memory for doing the settings, and the habit of seeing the possibilities in a scene.

We enthusiastically recommend taking a class with Janna. Although ours was a beginning level class, we look forward to other offerings, like enhancements that can be done to the photos. She can tailor a class according to needs.
